K-pop girl group TWiCE returned with their fifth EP What Is Love? today, promoted with a titular single that draws its inspiration from famous film moments.
After teasing new music for what seems to feel like centuries to fans, TWICE finally dropped their fifth EP, What Is Love? and its lead single of the same name on Monday, April 9.
Written and produced by J.Y. Park, who also produced their 2017 hit “Signal,” “What is Love?” is an upbeat dance track that digs into about one’s curiosity to find the true definition of love.
The music video show Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu fighting over the remote control, flipping past channels of various love stories from Princess Diaries to La La Land and more.
Each member represents a different movie, similar to the video “Cheer Up.
